Decades of passion have ultimately culminated in an ambition to make greater wines than past technology enabled. Every year the weather is drastically different and sometimes the Cabernet is too green and the Merlot too soft. Hundreds of years ago, an ingenious winemaker thought to blend different varietals together to create a more balanced wine. In addition to those two varietals, he also added Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot and Malbec. This is synergy. The creation of a whole by putting together differing pieces to create a final product that is greater than the summation of its parts. What we are doing is essentially the same, only that we are opening up the brand to cover the whole earth as one region. Had the visionary winemaker who first created the Bordeaux brand had today’s modern technology and easy access shipping routes, we are sure he too would have done what we are now able to do.
About The Founders
Serge has 8 years experience in the wine industry. He began his wine career as a brand- marketing ambassador for Cameron Hughes Wine following then his wine education at Berkeley Extension. Later he continued his education through both the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust (WSET) and the International Sommelier Guild (ISG). He later worked as an import distributor for Petronius Wines before returning to school to attain his MBA in Wine Business Management. After achieving his MBA, he then began working as a cellarworker at Bluxome Street Winery, a boutique urban winery in the heart of San Francisco. He has also worked harvest abroad at Delaire-Graff in Stellenbosch, South Africa. A lavish winery with extensive international trade.

Olya began her wine education at the WSET where she completed both the intermediate and advanced levels with distinction. She has also attained the title Certified Wine Professional from the esteemed Culinary Institute of America, again with distinction. She then spent a year and a half as the VIP brand ambassador for Darioush Winery in the Napa Valley, where she liaised with elite winery clientele and was continuously rewarded for her exceptional abilities. In the last two years she has worked as an instructor for the WSET, Sommelier at Mezes, wine buyer for the California Wine Merchant and begun the esteemed diploma program, to attain the coveted and highest credential entitled Master of Wine.
